Robert Anton Wilson::

" "Is", "is." "is" — the idiocy of the word haunts me. If it were abolished, human thought might begin to make sense. I don't know what anything "is"; I only know how it seems to me at this moment. "

When the wind is strong, the earth resembles someone's kite::

[+]Okozyo

"When the wind is strong
The earth resembles someone's kite
Even during the full noon hours
People feel that night is already there.

The wind is without words
It merely whirls around and frets
I think of wind on another star
Wondering if they can form a friendship.

On earth there is nighttime and the day
What do other stars do during these times?
How can they bear to spread in silence?

By day the blue sky is telling lies
While night mutters the truth, we sleep
And when morning comes we say we've dreamed."

Javelin installation::

Included at the ALL ABOARD FUTURE record release party/art exhibit
was an interactive installation by the musical artist JAVELIN,
who will soon become visually and musically memorable here in Brooklyn.

The duo that is Javelin, George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk,
run their composed Jamz through a number of
old skool boomboxes via an AM/FM Transmitter during live performances;
which accomplishes a unique sound on top of
what is already an impressive composition.

For their contributing installation,
the familiar rig was present.

Utilizing a loop of waves crashing,
users were invited to add their own sounds through two thumb pianos.

(portable personal wireless monitors gave guests
the option to continue throughout the show,
while being to able to monitor new sounds that
happened to come about by new users)

(George and Tom demonstrating for hesitant onlookers)

(what? two sparks!? not even double fisting, the man has two in one hand)

I highly recommend attending their next show
and getting your hands on the Jamz and Jemz album

All Aboard Future Release Party/Art Opening::

Friday the 13th:
Accompanying the Release of THESE ARE POWERS' album,
All Aboard Future,
the band had hand picked a number of some 18 artists,
to display their work at Secret Project Robot;
where the release party was held.

Ranging from illustrations and paintings to photography,
video installation to sculpture,
and even interactive installations
kept the foot traffic in a constant experience throughout their stay.

With my trusty iphone,
i was able to document a few visuals:
