Javelin installation::

Included at the ALL ABOARD FUTURE record release party/art exhibit
was an interactive installation by the musical artist JAVELIN,
who will soon become visually and musically memorable here in Brooklyn.

The duo that is Javelin, George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk,
run their composed Jamz through a number of
old skool boomboxes via an AM/FM Transmitter during live performances;
which accomplishes a unique sound on top of
what is already an impressive composition.

For their contributing installation,
the familiar rig was present.

Utilizing a loop of waves crashing,
users were invited to add their own sounds through two thumb pianos.

(portable personal wireless monitors gave guests
the option to continue throughout the show,
while being to able to monitor new sounds that
happened to come about by new users)

(George and Tom demonstrating for hesitant onlookers)

(what? two sparks!? not even double fisting, the man has two in one hand)

I highly recommend attending their next show
and getting your hands on the Jamz and Jemz album
